GnuPLOT

Gnuplot is a general purpose graphing and plotting application. Like a graphical scientific calculator, it plots equations in two and three dimensions, solves for single or multiple variables, and does limited numerical integrations and derivatives. Gnuplot also has great flexibility in output format and can graph equations and datasets far beyond the capability of a hand calculator. Like similar mathematics tools, GnuPLOT allows for rapid visualization of changes to assist in the understanding of complex functions. It should be noted that a graphical user interface (GUI) is not required to use GnuPLOT, and in fact the default compilation does not enable it.

This is not intended as a complete guide to using GnuPLOT. For the complete users manual please visit the official GnuPLOT site.
