GNU Octave also ships on many of the more full-fledged distributions. It is
licensed under the GPL and may be freely distributed accordingly. The packages
have been built on Intel and compatible hardware, PowerPC, Alpha and a host of
other architectures. GNU Octave uses GnuPlot for plotting graphics.
